Her

Have you all ever wondered what a happy life would be like? I always thought that having a good job, friends, hobbies, a (future) wife, beautiful house, pets, etc. would be where I can find happiness. Oh boy, how wrong I have been…
I can truly say that I am happy. Not because I got all those things or will have all those things some day. I can say that I’m happy because of 1 reason… Three letters… Her… She is the one I wake up to every morning with a big smile and fall asleep next to with a heart that’s at peace. She is the one I turn to when I feel alone and she is the person I turn to when I’m having a good time. She is there to always receive me in every state that I am in. She makes me happy… because she allows me to make her happy.
The way she say loool, the way she gets shy when you tell her how pretty she is, the way she gets excited when she sees a cute cat or a doggo. The way she reacts when I cook something good for her and starts melting after taking a bite. The way she craves my attention. The way she gets mad or angry. The way she laughs when she sees something funny.
There is just something about her that I can’t explain. Is this friendship? the feeling of love? Or does it go beyond all of that and was she actually made for me all this time and did our universes connect at the right place at the right time. I don’t know for certain… and quite frankly it doesn’t even matter. All that matters to me is that I get to see that beautiful smile of hers every day wherever I go, engraved into my brains like a tattoo that I never want to get rid of. She is all I want and all I will ever need to be happy for the rest of my life. So if you ask me where I can find happiness, my answer won’t be money, it won’t be succes and it won’t even be friends. My answer will always and forever be… Her.
